What I do

Editorial & Commercial Photography

Photography has the power to do more than document a place, a person or a product—it can tell a story, create an emotional connection and leave a lasting impression.

I work with magazines, publishers, tourism organizations, hospitality brands, cultural institutions and businesses to create photography that feels authentic, engaging and timeless. Whether documenting a destination, capturing the atmosphere of a boutique hotel, photographing a chef in their kitchen or telling the story of a centuries-old craft, my goal is always the same: to create images that are honest, atmospheric and meaningful.

Based in Kyoto and available for assignments throughout Japan and internationally, I bring a documentary approach to every commission, balancing editorial storytelling with the needs of each client.

A Collaborative Approach

Some assignments require quiet observation, while others involve close collaboration with creative teams, brands or marketing agencies. I enjoy working closely with clients to understand their vision while bringing my own editorial perspective and attention to detail to every shoot.

From a single portrait session to multi-day editorial features and international campaigns, I believe the best photographs come from curiosity, trust and genuine human connection.
